Good Morning,
We wanted to take a moment to update you after the most recent announcement by the Alberta government. As per the restrictions, we will be closing our doors to the public for the next four weeks, beginning Monday December 14th. This does not mean we are closed. We are still here for you. The seniors in our community have always been, and will continue to be our number one priority!

We know that these announcements have changed many plans for the holidays, as we cannot gather with those outside of our households. Many of our traditions will look quite different. Here at S.A.S.A we want to make sure no one feels alone during the holiday season.  Did you know we have a “friendly phone call” program? If you would like a friendly phone call from one of our amazing staff members please reply to this email and let us know! We would love to connect with you!

We also have a E-Pen Pal program that we launched early on in the pandemic. If you would like to connect with one other person by email, reply to this email and we will do our best to connect you with another senior in our community!

As we have mentioned before, we are here for all seniors in St. Albert. If you require any assistance reply to this email or call 780 459 0433.

If you have not already, please take a few moments to do our COVID-19 Impact Survey for seniors in St. Albert. This will help us get a better understanding of what needs are most prevalent in our community! To take part of the survey click here.  If you have already completed it thank you!

With the new restrictions we wanted to highlight what is happening in the following areas.

Red Willow Café

Thank you for all your support. We are reminded daily of how great a community we are a part of!

Please stay safe, stay healthy.

These are uncertain times. We have all had to change the way we do things. Help us identify the services and supports needed by the citizens of St. Albert who are 50 years and over; by sharing your thoughts and experiences about how COVID has impacted you. This survey will be anonymous unless you request a follow up call and all responses will be rolled up for analysis. The St. Albert City Council, Seniors Advisory Committee and Community Services Advisory Committee have all expressed a great deal of interest in the results.
If you would prefer to do the survey over the phone you can call the St. Albert Seniors Association at 780-459-0433 Ext.  and request a call back.

Thank you to the New Horizons for Seniors Program whose grant to the St. Albert Seniors Association made this survey possible.
