We offer many rewarding  opportunities for members and citizens to actively contribute to the Association and to the 50+ community in St. Albert. Our volunteers help in many areas, including:

Become a Boys & Girls Club or Big Brother Big Sisters Mentor at the Center

Apply to be a part of a team to welcome cihldren to the Center once a week for activities and mentorship.

  • Driving for our Meals on Wheels program within (Currently accepting new volunteers).
  • Gardening Group – maintain the garden, 30 – 60 minutes in week. Improve your vit D, muscle tone, and enjoyment of nature.
  • Friendly visitor program: must pass vulnerable sector check. Sixty minutes a week, either a visit or a call to a lonely senior.
  • Driving our handi bus to transport citizens around St. Albert.
  • Preparing, cooking, and helping to serve for our  La Casa Bistro.
  • Assisting with the many administrative tasks necessary to operate a club of 1500+ members.
  • Working in our gift shop and/or making products for the shop.
  • Driving seniors into Edmonton for medical appointments (Currently accepting new volunteers).
  • Driving for Meals On Wheels (All of Sturgeon County)(Currently accepting new volunteers)
